About Sweet & Quirky

Hello! My name is Mary and I'm the owner of Sweet & Quirky, a handmade polymer clay make living in San Diego, CA. Also in this photo is my dog, Bucky, eating a leaf for the fall (heh heh).

Why Sweet & Quirky?

• Sweet - for the tasty looking miniature food jewelry that I make!
• Quirky - for the pop culture nerdy earrings and everything else that doesn't fit in. 

I started crafting with polymer clay in 2024 after attending a miniatures convention. I was enamoured with all of the tiny creations there and wondered if I could make things on my own. The first thing I ever made were miniature Playstation controllers which I turned into "Player One" and "Player Two" pendants to give to my stepdaughter and her husbands for their wedding day. 

Earlier this year I did the #100DayProject and worked on polymer clay crafts every day for 100 days (minus a two-week vacation in Europe). I learned so much during that time and started making earrings - even though I didn't have my ears pierced! 

I finally got my eyes pierced and can wear my own creations and I offer them up for sale for someone (like you) who is looking for some fun, sweet, and quirky earrings of their own.
